These boys were and are a very special part of our lives although Jesus decided to take them home with him on December 9,2000
They were in a tragic automobile accident along with their mother, Tracy.
We had just spent the day at an annual Christmas Party and it had been a fun day. This was something we did every year

These were the last pictures taken of the boys that fateful day...Ryan at first didn't want to sit on Santa's lap as he felt he was getting too old and I asked him to do it for his Nanny never realizing how true those words would become but being the sweet boy he was he did it for me. Travis was still a wee bit skeptical of this man in white but also sat willingly on his lap to indulge us older ones---that was the kind of boys they were------so sweet.
This is Travis doing what he enjoyed best---playing

My cousin Alex--Ryan thought this was funny and of course Alex was not impressed
This is our cousin Austin and Travis's best friend. He was with us all day the Saturday we had to leave.
It is far better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
I want to give thanks to Our God for all the years He left us have wth our sweet angels.
These are memories that will remain forever close to my heart. Pap and I love you boys---rest peacefully!

This was the last pic taken of the boys.
They are with their cousin ,Austin. On the day of their funeral Landisville Fire Company made them honarary firefighters. What a proud moment for all of us and the boys would have been overjoyed. They loved these Christmas parties and looked forward every year to attending.

This was a note I found in my car from Ryan about 3 weeks after the boys passed. When I found this I took it to be amessage from Ryan saying "Don't cry Nanny, Travis and I are OK". It just seemed so strange that I had not noticed this before.
